This story is a bit special because, well it happened to me! I’ve been a little reluctant to share some of my odd experiences, but after talking with so many people who have had experiences I do feel a little more comfortable sharing now.
This happened early one dark and rainy morning during the COVID lockdown of 2020. I can’t remember when it was exactly, I know it was still cold out and near the beginning of the lockdown. There was an emergency at work that I had to drive into work for. Because I had been working from home for a few weeks and had not been out in a while.
While driving, I never saw a single car, likely because of the lockdown. I was stopped at a stop light when out of the corner of my eye, I saw a woman in a paper-thin-looking dress walking down the street and into the park.I remember thinking, “Well, that’s odd.” It was cold, rainy and still dark outside. So a woman in a thin dress with no jacket did not make much sense.
I looked up at the light again, still red. Then I looked back for the lady and she had vanished. I could still see further ahead of where she had been, and there was no trace of her. I kept driving, and later it dawned on me that I should have gotten my phone out and recorded it. It would have been a cool thing to capture.
There you have it, one of my own stories. I’ve had a few others that I may share over time, but this one was definitely pretty interesting and the most recent. Let me know what you think of it, and hopefully it encourages more folks to share their stories.
