Spooky Appalachia is a solo project born out of a passion for uncovering, preserving, and sharing the deep-rooted paranormal stories and folklore of the Appalachian region. From the deepest haunted hollers and ghostly legends to elusive cryptid sightings and unexplained events, my mission is to document the chilling tales that make these ancient mountains so mysterious and unique.
I believe the most impact stories are the ones told by those who lived them. Many of the accounts I share come from firsthand witnesses or have been passed down through generations of local families and I’m always on the hunt for compelling recent encounters. Whether it’s a creature spotted in the thick of the woods, a spirit roaming a pioneer-era building, or an unsolved mystery that still haunts a small mountain town, I am dedicated to bringing those stories to light.
Spooky Appalachia started with a simple goal: to give a voice to local legends and the people who experience them. What began as a personal blog has evolved into a dedicated YouTube channel and a presence across major podcast platforms. I’ve built this community for fellow seekers who love paranormal tales rooted in true Appalachian culture, history, and the strange reality of the mountains.
