Hello Spooky Appalachia, I watched your show about the NC Mothman sighting earlier today and wanted to share my own. My story was about two years ago (2021) in South Carolina, near Savannah River in Georgia. My daughter and I were sitting in our living room when we heard something BIG land on our metal roof. Not long after I started to hear what sounded like biting sounds at our front door, and we could hear heavy breathing sounds.
My daughter and I were pretty frightened, but we managed to gather the courage to go outside and look to see what it was. We couldn’t see a thing with it being 12:00 at night, not even with a flashlight shined up there. We could hear what sounded like this huge screaming bird was on our roof. It was also breathing very loudly and could hear its wings and what sounded like a horrible screaming sound. Eventually, we heard it hop over to the old oak tree next to the house, and it sounded like it took off from there. We had no idea what it was doing.
About the same week, I had a vision, like a projector screen. Cars piling up on the bridge that we were going to drive over the next day. I changed my mind and it was on the news the next day. So, I’m guessing maybe it warned me about the bridge? Let me know what you think!
